Networking Made Easy, Not Sleazy

Networking is about participating in a network, becoming part of a community of like-minded people who are having conversations of interest (e.g. about sustainable cities, regional development, eco-urbanism, food security, etc.) and forging, genuine, authentic relationships. 

The networks you build and develop will communicate best practices, help you fill a position in your organization, share contacts, give you feedback, challenge your thinking, provide advice, validate your work, give you the knowledge about the best way to do things or get things, find a new job, and help you with your business.

We all need networks personally and professionally.  In this session we’ll demystify networking; you’ll gain practical tips and insights about the basics of n16.etworking, discover how to make authentic connections and skip the sleaze by practicing how to best introduce your genuine self. With the knowledge that you’ll gain, combined with practice with your peers and a group of experience URB alumni,  you’ll be ready to approach networking with skill and confidence.
